It’s the first day of activities of the World Sport for All Games and it’s aimed at all schools and students who want to participate, mainly students from primary schools in the Lisbon region. This day will be the culmination of a preparatory program with schools, which will involve not only young people, but also families, schools and teachers. Its main objective is to promote Physical Activity and Exercise in this target through the Traditional Games.
This is a sports festival complemented with different activities. The goal is for children to have contact with activities from different cultures, different sports than they normally play and many fun moments. The activity will be organized by stations of several Traditional Games, not only portuguese, but also from all over the World, in which students, accompanied by their TAFISA Passport, will be entitled to the stamps of the countries in which they participated. There will also be several demonstration activities and student participation in dances and emerging sports. At the end of the morning and afternoon sessions there will be master classes for all students.
